Caymus is the ultimate dog at home and in the ring.  We guarantee he will steal your heart with his good looks and sweet personality.  He is a true show boy, with a confidence and love for life that are undeniable when you see him strut his stuff in and out of the ring.  

Caymus lives at home and commutes to shows with his owners staying in hotels or his RV weather dependent.  The number one priority for Caymus is his health and happiness.  He is shown by his professional handlers Andy and Amy Linton.

ACHIEVEMENTS

2014

Caymus and his handler Andy Linton are on their way to achieving all the goals that we have dreamed of so far this year and its not over yet!

2014 Highlights as of October:

  • Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show winning Select Dog.
  • Best in Show at Mt. Bachelor Kennel Club making him the 55th Rhodesian Ridgeback in the history of the breed to win an All Breed Best in Show.
  • Best in Specialty Show at the coveted BARRC show in Del Valle, CA
  • Multiple Reserve Best in Show and Hound Group wins.
  • Caymus earned his Coursing Ability Title in just one day with flying colors.
  • AKC Platinum Grand Champion Title making him the 5th Rhodesian Ridgeback in history to earn this title.
  • Caymus is currently ranked as the #1 Rhodesian Ridgeback Dog in both breed and all-breed points and the #2 Rhodesian Ridgeback in both breed and all-breed points in the USA.

2013

Our 2013 has been an exciting and very successful for our 3 year old boy.  Caymus finished up 2013 ranked as the #4 Rhodesian Ridgeback Dog in both breed and all-breed points.

2013 Highlights:

  • Multiple Reserve Best in Show wins.
  • Multiple Hound Group wins.
  • Best of Opposite Sex at the Eukanuba National Championship.
  • AKC Gold Grand Champion Title.

2012

At just 2 years old the achievements of Caymus have exceeded all of our expectations.  

2012 Highlights:

  • Ranked #7 Rhodesian Ridgeback Dog in breed and all breed points USA.
  • Ranked #4 Rhodesian Ridgeback Dog in breed points Canada.
  • Multiple group placements beside some of the top hounds in the country.
  • CKC Canadian Champion Title (in just 3 days of showing winning BOB from the classes and two group placements at the largest dog show in Canada).
  • AKC Silver Grand Champion Title.

 

2011

  • Canine Good Citizen Title (CGC) at just 14 months old.
  • Herding Instinct Certificate (HIC) at just 10 months old.
  • AKC Champion Title at 19 months.  Earned in just 5 months of very limited showing with his amateur owner handler including 3 major wins.
  • Earned his first group placement his first weekend showing as a special with his amateur owner handler winning a Group 3rd defeating 140 hounds.
